This zebra print look is soo sooo easy to do.. it takes a little practice, but I think you'll get the hang of it.
This 2/5 difficulty nail design works perfect on fingers or toes and only uses 3 polishes! You can substitute some of the colors because this design isn't very strict.
I started with a base coat to protect my natural nails. After that dried I applied 2 coats of Tokyo Pearl by sinful colors. I like to use a pearl color instead of white because I think it adds a whole dimension to the look.
When your pearl color is almost dry you can start your zebra print. The zebra print is a mix of straight lines, wavy lines, and lines branching out from one point. Look at my thumb in the picture, the first line starting at the cuticle is a straight line. The next was two lines branching off from one point. The next line was straight, the one after that was wavy and so on and so forth. You don't have to do them in any particular order. I suggest that you have 1 set of branching lines, at least 2 straight lines, and at least 2 wavy lines.
Once your zebra print is dry you can apply a top coat to ensure no chipping or fading colors. For an added twist you can apply a coat of glow in the dark polish. I bought one from Justice in my cousins mall- it was the only place I could find it cheap. It is blue and pretty see through with minimal glitter, it doesn't mask the print and looks great in the dark!
I am so sorry that I don't have more pictures to show you, but thanks for reading and I promise to have more pictures next time! Thanks again and remember to become a follower!
